The idea for carryyygum came to Carl Heinze while cycling through the Englischer Garten – on a bike without a luggage rack, holding a magazine and a table tennis bat. With the support of several product designers, the initial design (rubber band + cable tie) was transformed into a smart product consisting of three mounts with rubberized Velcro fasteners and a weather-resistant rubber band – the carryyygum!
